Textiles Gallery 2 - Scarves

"I have always been intrigued by the element of chance which becomes apparent when creating resist-dyed textiles:
The consistent use of a wax resist to create a precise outline, allowing the dyes to flow and merge or else be contained in areas of pure colour, the subtle effects of over-dyeing once the wax has been removed.
The dyed cloth is never entirely predictable but always satisfying for its colour quality, allowing for the natural sheen of the silk to come through."
