Workshops

I offer workshops to suit all levels of age and ability.

Creative workshops to suit your needs from childrens' parties to corporate business days.

Teaching experience

I have experience of working with all ages and abilities.

Initially I trained as a tutor in adult and further education and much of my earlier teaching work was with adults. This included evening classes and day workshops and also involvement in community arts projects. These have included a large scale textile hanging in collaboration with other artists on the Millgate Parish Map at the Millgate Museum in Nottinghamshire.

I was also involved over a period of ten years with the Sheffield Children's Festival, delivering Batik workshops to secondary schools in and around the city, resulting in a collaborative exhibition each year of the children's work.

I have some experience also of working with children and adults with learning difficulties.

Current work is very much centred around work in primary schools where I deliver workshops all over the country. Some of this work is culturally focused textile work and mosaic.

Other textile workshops are offered to adults at various venues including the Attenborough Centre For Disabilities and the Arts in Leicester and Loughborough University.

I offer a series of mosaic and textile masterclasses for adults at the Laundry Room Workshop at Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire.
