Inspirations

I like to work by freely experimenting with the medium, working mostly with resist and discharge-dyed textile variations, print and mosaic.

Inspiration is derived from a variety of sources and whilst some works are conventional depictions of the natural world, others are arrived at with a more intuitive and spontaneous approach, responding to memories, dreams, lyrics, conversations ......

Examples of my works are in private collections around the world including pieces created for English Nature and The National Trust.
I can also create individual works of art to your specifications.
